## Summary

Return a transaction by its hash.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `transactionHash` | `HASH` | 32-byte transaction hash as 0x-prefixed hex. |

## Returns

- **Type**: `OBJECT|NULL`
- **Description**: Transaction object including its block context; null when the transaction is unknown.

## Notes

A pending transaction may already be in the pool, but its block fields stay empty until it is included.
