## Summary

Return the node's syncing status.

## Parameters

This method takes no parameters.

## Returns

- **Type**: `boolean|object`
- **Description**: false when not syncing; otherwise an object with progress fields such as startingBlock, currentBlock and highestBlock.

## Notes

Clients may include extra fields in the syncing object; combine it with the latest block number to judge whether the node is usable.
