ARRAY - Description: Array of trace objects recorded during transaction execution, in execution order.
Notes
trace_transaction is supported on chains with Parity/OpenEthereum-style trace modules enabled; see the availability table below. A block outside the state window returns -32011, and an unknown hash returns -32000; neither is billed. For Geth-style call trees, use debug_traceTransaction.
